Tais Hair Studio has a well-earned reputation as the most stylish, professional and elegant salon in Sydney's Inner West.
Owned by Brazilian-born Thais Pantigas, the salon has created a professional and warm setting, where guests can have the opportunity to experience a tailored service. The concept for Tais Hair Studio was to create a space that is more than a hair salon. We wanted it to be an oasis for hair and beauty in which you can relax, be pampered and feel inspired. Our whole team is here to deliver the right solution to your hair needs with a vast international experience of Brazilian and Australian beauty experts in the heart of Annandale!
Hairdressing is in Thais' blood!
Born and raised in São Paulo Brazil, her mother owned and managed an acclaimed hair salon for more than 33 years. Tais first picked up the scissors at age 14 and her talent, flair and creativity was immediately obvious. In her early 20s she also studied and specialised in skin and body care, working with Anna Pegova - one of Brazil's most renowned beauty institutes.
In 2007, Thais moved to Australia and emerged into the hair industry basing herself in the beautiful village atmosphere of Annandale, where she fell in love with the area and the community. She resumed her training and excelled at TAFE, winning the prestigious Sydney TAFE Achievement Award.
Thais is now the Creative Director and Owner of the Tais Hair Studio and has quickly established herself as a leading cutter and colour specialist in the Inner West, attracting clientele from the eastern suburbs and beyond.
Her thriving and busy Hair Studio has led Tais to be nominated as a finalist for the Inner West Outstanding Business Person of the Year in 2016 and 2017 as well as the Inner West Outstanding Hairdressing of the year 2016, 2017 and 202.
Thais passion for hairdressing is matched only by her love for the Sydney fashionistas, who appreciate her signature style and warm, personalised service.

Thais brings her unique Brazilian Free Hand Techniques and Dry Cutting to all hair types, combine with Rëzo Cutting, Clever Curl, Curl by curl cut. She specialises in curly hair cutting, curl painting, also known as balayage and has developed her own technique to create an unique over all natural style. "Hairdressing gives me the opportunity to be close to people and to help them find their style" says Thais.
