CONFIRMING APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLING OR RESCHEDULING

Here at Taïs Hair Studio, we get you. Life can be a real pain at times, and every now and then things don’t work out as planned.

That’s why we like to stay flexible where we can — with a few clear policies so everything runs smoothly for you, and your appointment stays relaxing and enjoyable.

We greatly appreciate your support, and we’ll always endeavour to give you a professional experience at every visit.

1. Confirming your appointment

We send a text confirmation 3 days before your appointment. If we don’t hear back, we’ll call you the day before.

2. Cancelling or rescheduling
Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at 50% of the service total. Any future booking can only go ahead once that fee has been paid.

To cancel or reschedule, call us, email us, or message us on WhatsApp.

3. Online bookings
When you book online, we securely store your card details to hold the appointment. No money is taken at the time of booking.

We do not charge a separate booking fee or deposit.

4. Running late
If you’re running late, we get that — tell us and we’ll try our best to work around it. We run by appointment, so arrivals of 15 minutes or more may mean we’re unable to complete your service if it affects the next client. If that happens, our cancellation policy applies.

If we are running behind schedule, we’ll let you know at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. We always do our best to stay on time for you.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

At Taïs Hair Studio we pride ourselves on quality work, excellent products, and a team that stays trained and up to date.

We provide a thorough consultation before your service and endeavour to make sure every client leaves happy. If your hair is not as expected and you are unhappy with the result, we will correct or redo it at no extra charge within 14 days of your appointment.

For colour services, we send a text follow-up 7 days after your visit. Your feedback matters to us.

A full refund is not available.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Taïs Hair Studio we value our clients and your privacy. We respect and protect your personal information.

All personal information is kept strictly confidential. It is not sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. Your details are used only to look after your experience with us.

We adhere to the Privacy Act 1988. Information will not be shared unless required by law.

PRICING

Salon pricing may vary from stylist to stylist, based on experience, skill, and demand.

Every appointment includes a short consultation on the day so we can confirm the right plan for your hair.

For colour makeovers, we highly recommend a dedicated consultation before your colour appointment. Our colour consultation is $75. If you go ahead and book the colour with us, that amount is credited off your colour service total.

The consultation is a service in its own right (time and expertise). It is not a deposit, and it is not refundable once it has been delivered.

PERSONAL ITEMS

At Taïs Hair Studio we look after your garments and belongings with water- and colour-proof gowns, towels, and capes.

Personal items remain the full responsibility of the client. If anything is left behind, our team will keep it safe and contact you as soon as possible.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS — GIFT VOUCHERS

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase, issuance, and use of gift vouchers (“Gift Vouchers”) issued by Taïs Hair Studio. By purchasing, redeeming, or using a Gift Voucher, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Promotional voucher usage

Promotional Gift Vouchers can only be used during the stated time period on the voucher or promotional offer.
Only one promotional Gift Voucher can be used per appointment.
The promotional value expires at the end of the stated promotional period. Any remaining promotional balance is not redeemable after that date.

Recipient eligibility

Gift Vouchers can only be used with Taïs Hair Studio team members and cannot be used for services provided by freelancers affiliated with Taïs Hair Studio.

No refunds

Taïs Hair Studio Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Expiration

Standard Gift Vouchers expire three (3) years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the voucher.
Promotional vouchers may have different expiry dates as stated in the offer. Please check the promotion for details.

Participating salon

Gift Vouchers must be used at Taïs Hair Studio only.

Use for services only

Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for retail products. They are valid for salon services only.

Lost or stolen vouchers

Taïs Hair Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Vouchers. Please treat your Gift Voucher like cash.

Balance enquiry

You can check the remaining balance by visiting the salon or contacting our team.

Voucher usage limits

Gift Vouchers may be used for salon services up to the available balance. Any amount above the balance will need another payment method.

Resale prohibited

Gift Vouchers may not be resold or transferred for value. Any resale or transfer will invalidate the Gift Voucher.

Modification of terms

Taïs Hair Studio may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes apply once posted on our website or shared through our usual channels.

Compliance with law

Use of Gift Vouchers is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and must not breach any Taïs Hair Studio policy.
